Gregg Fischbuch
Mr. Fischbuch is a co-founder of Angle Energy, with over 20 years' experience with oil and natural gas companies exploring in the Western Canada Sedimentary Basin. Prior to co-founding Angle, Mr. Fischbuch was Senior Vice President, Corporate Development with Brooklyn Energy Corporation from March 2003 to January 2004. In 2001, he founded Crossfield Gas Corporation (later Bear Creek Energy Limited), where he was Executive Vice President until early 2003. In 1994, Mr. Fischbuch co-founded TriGas Exploration Inc. and was its Senior Vice President of Exploration and Engineering and a director until its sale to Calpine Canada in 2000.
Mr. Fischbuch received his Bachelor of Science degree in Geological Engineering from the University of Saskatchewan. He is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers, Geologists, and Geophysicists of Alberta (APEGGA).
Heather Christie-Burns
Ms. Christie-Burns is a co-founder of Angle. She is a professional engineer with over 18 years’ experience in the oil and natural gas industry, with particular emphasis in the Western Canada Sedimentary Basin. Previously, Ms. Christie-Burns was the Senior Reservoir Engineer at Bear Creek Energy Ltd. from January 2002 through March 2004. From February 1999 to January 2002, she was Senior Reservoir Engineer and later Senior Exploitation Engineer with Encal Energy Ltd.
Ms. Christie-Burns earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Calgary. She is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) and the Association of Professional Engineers, Geologists, and Geophysicists of Alberta (APEGGA).
Stuart Symon
Mr. Symon has been Angle’s Chief Financial Officer since 2006. Prior to joining Angle, Mr. Symon was a co-founder of White Fire Energy Ltd. where he served as Chief Financial Officer from April 2005 to February 2006. He was the Chief Financial Officer of Lightning Energy Ltd. from April 2004 to March 2005 and of Brooklyn Energy Corp. from December 2001 to March 2004. He was also a co-founder of Avid Oil and Gas Ltd., where he was Vice President, Finance from June 1996 to July 2001.
Mr. Symon is a Certified Management Accountant.
Elizabeth More
Ms. More joined Angle in December 2007 as Manager of Exploration and in September 2008 was promoted to her current position. She is a professional geologist with more than 25 years’ experience in the Western Canada Sedimentary Basin, including past exploration success in several of the areas where Angle is active. From April 2005 until joining Angle, she was Senior Geologist, Alberta Basin and then Vice President, Exploration for Flagship Energy Inc. From November 2002 to March 2005, she was Senior Geologist, W5 Alberta for Bear Creek Energy Inc., where she gained wide experience in managing energy development projects. Over the previous 20 years, she worked in increasingly senior positions on a variety of high-impact plays in West Central Alberta, northeast B.C. and the Arctic for Gulf Canada Resources Inc., Altana Exploration Ltd. and Calpine Canada.
Ms. More received her Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree in Geology from Dalhousie University. She is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers, Geologists, and Geophysicists of Alberta (APEGGA) and the Canadian Society of Petroleum Geologists (CSPG).
Glen Richardson
Mr. Richardson joined Angle in August 2007 as Manager of Land and in September 2008 was promoted to his current position. He has nearly 15 years’ experience in land management, handling the full range of mineral and surface rights-related issues, in the Western Canada Sedimentary Basin. From September 2005 until joining Angle, Mr. Richardson was Land Manager for Yangarra Resources Ltd. From 1998 through 2005, he worked for Penn West Petroleum Ltd. (later Penn West Energy Trust, now Penn West Exploration) as a Landman and Senior Landman. Previous to that, he held several land-related positions with Amoco Canada Petroleum Ltd., where he began his career.
Mr. Richardson received his Bachelor of Commerce degree in the Program of Land Management from the University of Calgary. He is a member of the Canadian Association of Petroleum Landmen.
Graham Cormack
Mr. Cormack joined Angle in September 2009 as Vice President Operations. He has over 22 years of oil and natural gas production, operations, reservoir, acquisition evaluation and business experience. From September 2002 through 2008, Mr. Cormack was Vice President, Engineering and Operations and a founder of E4 and E3 Energy Inc. From 1997-2002, he was Manager of Production and Director Exploitation South for Calpine Canada (formally Encal Energy). Previous to that, he held several positions such as Partner and Operations Manager for Secure Oil Tools and was a Field Engineer for Imperial Oil in Cold Lake and Medicine Hat.
Mr. Cormack earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Alberta. He is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers, Geologists, and Geophysicists of Alberta (APEGGA).
Matthew Mazuryk
Mr. Mazuryk joined Angle in August 2008 as Manager of Engineering and in April 2009 was promoted to his current position of Vice President Engineering. He has over 18 years’ experience inacquisition evaluation, reserve evaluation and exploitation and production engineering. From October 2006 until joining Angle, Mr. Mazuryk was Manager of Engineering with Monterey Exploration Ltd. From 2004 through 2006, he worked for Harvest Energy Trust as Manager of Engineering.
Mr. Mazuryk earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering from Montana Tech – The University of Montana. He is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers, Geologists, and Geophysicists of Alberta (APEGGA), the Canadian Institute of Mining Metallurgy and Petroleum (CIM), and the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE).
Heather Post
Ms. Post joined Angle Energy in June 2008 as Controller. Prior to joining Angle, Ms. Post held a number of positions of increasing responsibility at PriceWaterhouseCoopers LLP, KPMG LLP and most recently Barnwell of Canada, Limited.
Ms. Post earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree in 2004 from the University of Calgary and has been a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Alberta since January 2006.
