Located approximately 12 kilometres south of Rocky Mountain House, Alberta, Ferrier is Angle’s second largest producing property and has experienced rapid growth since commencing operations in 2006 through a 3.5-section farm-in. Ferrier is Angle's second-largest producing property and is generating rapid growth through successful drilling of Mannville Group (mainly Ellerslie Formation) natural gas opportunities.
Key Facts:
- Accumulated nearly 20 sections (12,000 net acres) in two major contiguous blocks to end of 2008.
- Main target Ellerslie and Ostracod Formation channel sand systems.
- Prolific results – four Angle wells have generated absolute open flow (AOF) of more than 10 mmcf/d during testing.
- Best well tested at >20 mmcf/d AOF in 2008.
- Control of key infrastructure, including expandable compressor station and pipeline to midstream plant operator.
- More than half of the current land base at Ferrier remains to be drilled.
- Major compressor project completed in the fourth quarter of 2008 and has a raw gas through capacity of 19 mmcf/d.
- Closed asset acquisition in June 2009; 550 boe/d plus prospect rich undeveloped land and key infrastructure.
History:
